This year “4. Innovation and Creativity Symposium” was organized in BursaCrowne Plaza on 20 December 2013 with collaboration BUSIAD and Uludağ University. Organization was sponsored by Emko Elektronik.

It met participants with main theme “Innovation and Enterpreneurship” and its issues “Corporate Enterpreneurship, Start Ups and Innovation”. Bursa Industrialists and Businessmen Association(BUSIAD) Chairman Oya Coşkunöz Yöney said “innovation is critical key of success in people’s private and work life and it’s becoming raise life standards, elements of valuable business” in the organization which was sponsored by Emko Elektronik.

The symposium’s moderator Koç University Incubation Center Director Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Ergen said that encourage to enterpreneurship to students. He advices students to look from local vision to global perspective.

A speaker from Anadolu University Prof. Dr. Ender Suvacı said, everybody should do the job which they best know for a healthy technology transfer. From Sabancı University Dr. Volkan Özgüz emphasized a good entrepreneur who is imagined the best. Arçelik A.Ş. R&D Manager Dr. Faruk Bayraktar mentioned that R&D is propulse power for themselves.

This year, the last session of the symposium was ‘awards ceremony’. 1. Bursa Innovation Awards were given to the winning companies after a file assessmentsandsite visits by group ofassessors.  Leadership award given for Floteks, Management of Employee award was given for Nilüfer Municipality,  Alliance and Resource Management award was given to Şaypa Markets.
